Professional training


SONY DSCThe Neema Hospital has obtained from the Kenyan Government the qualification of “Centre for professional development” where activities of continuous medical training for local healthcare personnel are carried out. Indeed, training is fundamental in all of World Friends projects in order to guarantee complete autonomy to them.
Professionals, members of World Friends and of other partners of our organization such as the Mayo Clinic (USA), conduct these training courses.
The aim of the professional training courses for local doctors and personnel is to stimulate them and others to aim at following a professional career in order to contribute to the development of their own country.
The center of professional development is supported by the San Zeno Foundation (Italy) and Alba Care Foundation (Sweden).
The center is provided with a conference room and a multimedia library which also welcomes technical material, important for long-distance training courses.
